This week was held in Montbrison the first round of French Winter Nationals.
I entered this race in 2 classes, Formula 1 stock and Modified TC. Since I didnâ™t race in those classes from March and didnâ™t practice since that time I am very glad with this results!
Team XRAY started with the basic set up and all using alloy chassis. Lucas Urbain, was the fastest after reseeding, followed by Loic Jasmin and Leo Arnold. On my side, I was fifth, finding a better set up run after run.
During the first qualification, with new tires, car became amazing. Unfortunately a fan speedo broke stopped the car after 3 minutes. Two next qualifications were a big fight with Lucas Urbain! I did the TQ in the 3rd round, after getting a strong 2nd place in the 2nd qualification. So top 3 was secured for final.
Sunday qualifications were still a great battle with Lucas. He got the TQ in the 4th round but I succeed to get the overall TQ in the last round, with the best time on 5 minutes, giving me the 1st place on the grid for finales. A lot of XRAY drivers were also in the pace, Leo Arnold started 4th, Jeremy Limoges started 5th, Mathieu Bri?re 6th and Hugo Ragaut 9th.
Finals were as tight as qualifications. Lucas won the first round and then I got the 2 lasts, thanks to an amazingly fast and easy drivable car!
Lucas Urbain finished 2nd, following by Loic Jasmin Just behind him.Jeremy Limoges grabs the 4th place to Leo Arnold, Mathieu Bri?re kept his 6th place.
